Wild Flower Meadow – Wrexham

Long Rake Spar’s stunning natural golden/brown aggregates were set off beautifully when laid within a resin bound pathway that wound its way through a wild flower meadow in Wrexham.

In July 2016 Addagrip approved contractor Coatech Ltd was approached by Wright Landscapes for help resolve the issues their client was having with the existing loose gravel pathways around their property. In particular the erosion of the pathways and migration of stone were causing ongoing maintenance issues.

Their client was looking for an alternative to the loose gravel that would give an attractive natural aggregate appearance but that did not require the installation of an invasive base or heavy machinery that would frighten the surrounding wildlife.

As the area can get very wet and waterlogged in the winter, the client also required a surface that would provide access all year round.

Addagrip’s Terrabase Rustic, their innovative Resin Bound porous surface was the perfect option as it does not require an asphalt or concrete base.

Coatech Ltd was invited to install over 1030m2 of Terrabase Rustic in a Rustic Oak blend which utilised quality aggregates supplied by Long Rake Spar. This created beautiful natural looking seamless pathways around the pond and through the wild flower meadow.
