Long Rake Spar’s specialist dried aggregates are propping up the bar at popular surfers hangout, Belushi’s; a lively bar and B&B set off the high street in the busy seaside town of Newquay.
From the rear of the property you can sit on a deck and look out over the whole of Towan beach. The front of the property has a small driveway off the high street which leads to a courtyard and the bar. The driveway was inconspicuous and easy to walk past so Belushi’s contacted Oltco to discuss making the entrance more eye catching and enticing.
To transform Belushi’s curb appeal, Oltco laid their Crantock resin bound gravel blend straight onto the existing driveway with the addition of three infill drain covers. Belushi’s logo was made to size and laid in Poldark resin bound gravel.
Long Rake Spar provided the contrasting, natural aggregates to produce the Belushi’s logo from their Grantex range. These hard-wearing, durable materials ensure the longevity of the driveway and the logo within it.
The Crantock resin bound paving is perfect for the surrounding of the bar as is very low maintenance, weed resistant and easy to clean. The infill drain covers help to provide a smooth, aesthetically pleasing, consistent finish with no loose stones so no wobbly tables!
